Are You In An Abusive Relationship?

 

You could be in an abusive relationship if your partner displays any or all of the following behaviors:

  • Your Partner's moods make you worry and alter your behavior.
  • Your Partner uses jealousy and anger to control you.
  • Your Partner controls your money, or wants to be needed for money.
  • Your Partner ridicules, insults, and/or humiliates you, or accuses you of having affairs.
  • Your Partner screams at you, throws things, or breaks and/or steals your things.
  • Your Partner threatens to "out" you.
  • Your Partner claims to be out of control from alcohol, drugs or an abusive childhood.
  • Your Partner forces you to have sex or to do things that you don't want to do sexually.
  • Your Partner slaps, shoves or hits you.
